Mixed media, sa biswal na sining, ay tumutukoy sa isang likhang sining sa paggawa ng kung saan higit sa isang medya na linikha.

Mayroong isang mahalagang pagkakaiba sa pagitan ng mga "mixed-media" Artworks at "multimedia art". Mixed media may kaugaliang tingnan ang isang gawain ng visual na sining na pinagsasama iba't-ibang ayon sa kaugalian natatanging mga visual media sining. Halimbawa, ang isang trabaho sa kuwadro na pinagsasama pintura, tinta, at collage maaaring maayos ay tinatawag na isang "mixed media" trabaho - ngunit hindi isang gawain ng "multimedia art." Syllabus of Animation

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Film animation applies techniques of cinematography to the graphics and plastic arts in order to give the illustrations and movement to cartoons, drawings, paintings, puppet and three-dimensional objects. Evaluation by the student using feedback answering form Evaluation by the department head in the college.
General Objective:
The role of the team is to collectively create drawings for feature length films. Such collectively activity actually involves divisions of labor for background, inking, in betweens, tracing and painting and others.
Therefore the course subject aims to produce students who will:
1. Brainstorming to produce ideas for a full length film,
2. Create a story board showing the development of the idea, and
3. Work as a group on the picture and sound production including editing aspects of the film.
Course Requirements
The above objectives are achievable only through active participation in three activities:
1. Individual exercise involving creation of film characters
2. Group exercise:
2.1Story formulation
2.2 Storyboard making
2.3 Animation work including in between activity:
2.3.1 Design animation
2.3.2 Tracing and painting
2.3.3 Back grounding
2.3.4 Camera work
Course Topics / Outline
Animation processes undergo several stages starting with the big IDEA and culminates with the finished film. Animators, thus needs to be brief on the necessary topics like:
1. The History of Animation
1.1 Many advances were made in Europe: Reiniger employed mobile silhouettes:
Oskar Fisehinger and Len Lye experimented with abstract design choreographed
to music; and George Pal of Holland created techniques of puppet animation.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Primary compositions with emphasis on the human figure-nude and costume, including facial expression and body movements in various angles. Explores the creative use of techniques and styles in graphics, pen and ink, color pencil or pen and markers
PRE- AND/OR CO-REQUISITES
1st year subject/Illustration 2
OBJECTIVES
KNOWLEDGE OF—
To developed solution for a given idea of illustration.
To develop ability to demonstrate visual look and economy of thought in basic forms of illustration on message and concept of visual communication design.
SKILL IN—
To developed ability to use black and white or monochromatic medium in pen and ink, color pencil or pen and markers as a formal elements.
To promotes creative problem solving techniques.
To equip the learner to evaluate and properly carry out creative solution in a variety of techniques.
ATTITUDE—
To carry out the development of professional attitudes.
NATURE OF THE COURSE/RESOURCES FOR THE COURSE
This course is designed to help students develop critical abilities in the evaluation of materials and to encourage them to look at illustration.
The course is structured to permit the greatest possible dialogue and exchange of views. The sharing process will require you to bring a variety of materials to class in order to demonstrate points you wish to
make. You are expected to become familiar with a wide variety of resources about illustration, although the major emphasis should be on the processes themselves. You might, for instance, look at particular illustrator to interview.
There are references available on the WWW. You will also find it useful to visit the various websites developed for illustration.

Syllabus Freehand Drawing 1

Description:
A basic drawing course affecting a sequence of experiences in controlling proportion, placement, mass and volume that uses the method of tone, line and perspective and the principles of chiaroscuro. The student progress from drawing simple to complex objects. Emphasis is on lack and white rendering techniques from pencil to pen and ink.

Co Requisites: Freehand Drawing 2 Drawing and Painting from Life

Learning Objectives:
Knowledge
Learner should be able to state and carry out form and content in Freehand Drawing.
Learner should be able to state attributes, dimensions, basic phenomena and their applications on color theory.

Learner should be able to show skills in making design on various surfaces and materials.
